CREATOR’S VOICE

I think the Switch is a great piece of hardware.
What’s great about it is that you can play arcade games with the Switch in portrait mode, just as you would play a vertical shooter.
With other hardware, you have to rotate the monitor connected to the Switch, but with the Switch, you can play vertical shooters with just the console.
What a wonderful and excellent hardware.
I think the Switch is so well suited for vertical shooters that Nintendo might say with a smug look on their face, “Actually, we designed the Switch with vertical shooters in mind from the beginning.
And now, “Castle of Shikigami2” is finally coming to the Switch.
I am proud to say, as the creator of the original version, that this is the best work in the series and the most challenging most challenging for me as a game creator.
I created everything from characters to backgrounds in full-scale 3D, prepared event scenes with a combination of all characters and full voice recording, introduced puzzle bosses and duelist bosses, etc. I put all my ideas and stories I had at the time and passion into “Castle of Shikigami2”!
When I finished making this, I think I was so enthusiastic about it that I was suffering from a bit of burnout.
Thanks to this, the game was well received after this release, and I well remember that the arcade version at the time was often crowded with galleries.
I felt that I had created a “completed model” in my mind.
Twenty years have passed since then.
The day has come when you can play the (self-proclaimed) masterpiece of the series on the best hardware!
I believe that CosmoMachia’s excellent staff has produced the best ported version of the work.
Those who have played the game in the past will be able to experience a new experience while remembering those days, while those who are not familiar with the game will be able to enjoy it with a fresh mind.
The game is relatively gentle (or so we think) among bullet-hell shooters, so even those who are not good at bullet-hell shooters should be able to play it reasonably well…we believe.
I highly recommended to use a vertical screen and play it as if it were n an arcade!

To those of you who have been waiting for the Nintendo Switch version for a long time, thank you for your patience! We are very happy to announce that we have successfully released the game on the Nintendo Switch.
I would like to thank and appreciate all of you who purchased the game and all the development members and people who worked hard with us! Thank you very much.
Due to the limited development time, what we can do is inevitably limited, but we are making minor readjustments to make the game as close to the arcade version as possible. The internet ranking is exclusive to Nintendo Switch, so please do your best to achieve a high ranking!
